Hey! I just wanted to tell you guys that your record fucking rocks and you guys are amazing. I also wanted to thank you guys for putting on such an excellent show with Los Campesinos in Chicago earlier this month. I actually talked to Patrick and Ian after the show with my girlfriend and we took a few pictures. That really made both our nights getting to talk to you guys. Anyways, you guys are a real genuine band and you put alot of work into what you do and it shows in my opinion. Keep up the good work guys! Thanks again for being a fucking amazing band!

So i was listening to the album about a year ago, kinda paying attention, but not really. Nearing the end, when you guys read started to recite the stranger, i just stopped dead. i was like, “there’s NO WAY they just did THAT.”
i’ve never heard that kinda thing on a modern-rock album before. Well, i gave it a serious listen, and it opened up more and more to me. i began to notice the harmonica (nice!), and obvious shoegaze influence (without the metal machine music drull) it almost like a mix between early Clash and Replacements. I realized i was listening to a truly genuine album.
Now i know i’ve heard this one at least 50 times. please, please, PLEASE throw out another one soon!
PS: being called anything like the replacements is a complement in the highest degree.
